Apart from his professional career, Syed Ali has also been actively engaged in training and development of professionals since 2006. During all these years, thousands of delegates have benefited from his knowledge and expertise. He has exam focused approach helps his students to pass the exam in the very first attempt.

He is a corporate trainer and has provided training courses to over 200 corporate clients including Fortune 500 companies. His Accounting & Finance Courses are used by companies such as Amazon, Volkswagen, Disney, Nestlé, Reliance Group, Toyota Motors, Vodafone and many others. As a consultant he has worked on several projects including projects funded by the World Bank and the European Union.

Emad is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant with over 13 years of diversified experience in financial reporting, capital projects audit, external audit, internal audit, treasury, trade finance & working capital management. He is passionate about delivering high-quality assurance and consulting services and sharing his knowledge and expertise with aspiring professionals.

Based in the Middle East, he has extensive experience conducting risk-based financial, compliance, and performance audits of public & private sector entities.

He worked for KPMG in external audit on various assignments, including external audits of Qatargas, Maersk Oil, Qatar Mining, Qatar Gas Transport Company, and Joannou & Paraskevaides & Weatherford. He also worked as a treasury accountant at Abu Dhabi Steel Industry, where he performed almost all roles in a finance department and gained experience in technological finance transformation and business process re-engineering. 

He has also been associated with well-known training organizations in the MESA Region, the USA, and the UK for over 15 years. He has corporate, classroom, and online training experience covering audit, finance, and related topics, making him an expert in the training field. He can manage different nationalities under one roof and run successful webinars, seminars, and workshops with excellent pass rates and feedback.

Emad holds a bachelor's in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University – UK with first-class honors. He has been awarded Leadership Platinum Level by IMA (USA) for serving the accounting profession.

Liliya Kirylenka (FCCA) is a qualified and experienced accounting and finance professional. She has over a decade of experience working in one of the Big Four audit firms in assurance and financial advisory. Liliya has also worked in a senior management position and served in a multinational organization as CFO (Chief Financial Officer) She has excellent proven track record as an accounting professional.

Liliya Kirylenka is a nationwide position holder in her ACCA professional qualification in ACCA AFM (P4) exam. Since 2017, she has been teaching different papers from ACCA qualification. She has profound interest in Financial Management, Performance Management and Financial Reporting.

Syeda Kanwal has been with Vertex since 2020 and is an integral part of the Vertex team. She oversees and manages the ACCA foundation and applied knowledge courses, as well as the Vertex online testing system. Kanwal is very supportive of her students and provides all the support, motivation, and guidance to students in passing their ACCA exams.

Shahrukh Yousuf is an ACCA member and a seasoned Financial Accountant for a UK-based company. His professional background is rooted in high-level audit practice, having worked with UK public listed entities and prestigious firms including Grant Thornton, Deloitte, and PwC.

Since joining Vertex as an Audit & Assurance (AA) tutor in June 2022, Shahrukh has focused on bridging the gap between complex theory and real-world application. With over six years of professional experience and three years in the classroom, he brings a wealth of practical expertise to his students.

His teaching philosophy is built on a tailored, detail-oriented approach—which he considers paramount for mastering the AA paper. Shahrukh’s lectures go beyond basic concepts by providing specific exam techniques for every syllabus area, ensuring students know exactly how to structure their answers for maximum marks. His interactive live sessions focus heavily on stress and pressure management, simulating real-time exam scenarios to build student confidence. Sarfraz Akhtar is an ACCA qualified and experienced tutor. He is a dedicated full-time tutor with over fifteen years of teaching experience. Prerna Thapa is an ACCA affiliate. She has a passion for learning and teaching. She completed her ACCA is less than 3 years, scoring five nationwide and two worldwide positions in her ACCA exams. Prerna is actively involved in content development and helping our students improve their scores.
